Singapoh! (part 3)

Day 3

The last day part of the tour was a special free day for all. And again I re-group with the same team as the day before to went out to IKEA and had an extra shopping for goods there. Going out with the public transportation was fun.

We got back at the hotel at almost time for all the group to gather for the last time before going to the airport. But since we noticed that we still had time to catch a local ice cream from a street cadger that is located at the traffic light corner right in front of Takashimaya Dept. Store. So what we did was, we walked as fast as we can (with a little bit of sprint running) from our hotel right after we finished packing our stuff towards Takashimaya which was about 4 traffic lights intersections away, bought the ice cream, ate it while walking faster (and more sprinting) back to the hotel, and finished eating them right at the exact time as we got to the hotel again and got up to the bus. Ridiculously fun and full of adrenaline rush haha...

And the whole walking extra fast and sprinting didn't end there. We re-joined the others and went straight to Changi airport. Right after passing immigration and heading to boarding room our boss contacted one of us and insisted to show us the airport terminal where he is at, which was much bigger and much more exciting than where we were. So the four of us (the same team as yesterday and the ice-cream hunt) rushed out from the boarding room to the other terminal by Skytrain, meet our boss and had a short tour where he showed us the amazing designs and all the facilities that were provided. We timed our meet for no longer than 40 minutes, so right after we rushed back, got on the skytrain and walked faster back to boarding room. I'm even tired just by picturing the whole thing all over again. *sigh* *inhale-exhale*

Anyway, it was only about an hour later when we finally got onboard the airplane, and we landed at CGK at about 9 PM that night. And such a coincidence that my dad had just landed an hour earlier from Solo so we got to go home together.

It was a fun short trip and tiring. The next day was Friday and the last message our boss gave us that NO ONE could skip work that day so we all got back to work as instructed the next morning. I can't wait to go on a travel again. This was a good start for 2012.

All photos were taken by myself (with Canon 350D and Nokie E63), my work-mates Rio, Eko and Mbak Dede, and of course, our boss.

Day 2

We got up early for breakfast at the hotel and re-group early that morning for the next tour. The second part of the tour was going to Universal Studios. We spent the whole full day having fun and touring in the area. Since we did have a 'special homework' on learning all the architectures in Singapore, we paid much attention on the details in the Studio. Everything, the details, designs and the rides was amazing. And we did have fun.

My friends and I got separated with the whole group and went searching for different rides and stuff in a small group of four. This little team then sort of went adventuring alone in Singapore from that time onwards. The tour on Sentosa Island ended by watching the beautiful performance of Songs of The Sea.

Later that night I joined some of my workmates (the whole architect team) to had a night tour. We went to Marina Bay and took a long walk around Esplanade area, and went back to our hotel at Orchard Road around midnight.

Singapoh! (part 1)

On the last week of January, the company I am working at held a 3 days outing tour to Singapore. There were 20 people that went on the tour alongside our boss, with a couple of field-workers that got tagged along since they were actually had to go to Singapore to do some work on one of our company's project.

It was a short but fun trip. And since it wasn't a private travelling agenda for me so I'm gonna share you some pics and just a round up story. I'm going to post for the story in 3 parts.

Day 1

We left extra early in the morning to catch the first flight leaving Jakarta to Singapore with Lion Air. It was around 3 AM when the whole team gathered at our office to go by bus to the airport. It was still early when we landed on Singapore that we had some time to rest and had breakfast before starting on the tour.

We went with some crew of the travel agent that helped us, so the first day as part of the 3 days tour was planned totally for shopping spree. We stopped by at Merlion first to had some photoshoot and then went to the Chinatown, Bugis Street, Mustafa Center at Little India and this super chocolate shop where I bought some special package for my fiance.

It was still at the peak of celebrating Chinese New Year so we could find similar trees everywhere.

The Sneak of The Peak

Here's another sneak peak of our pre-wedding photoshoot process.
Having a brother who is extremely busy makes us hard to have a certain time to do all of the work in an instance, but since I insisted that he has to be the one to take our pre-wedding pictures, so all we could do is steal some of his free time - whenever he is available - to go out just the three of us and have a full day of photoshoot.

We had our second photoshoot a few weeks ago, at Suropati Park and Cikini. It was fun and the pictures came out great. But now we realize that we actually do need a personal stylist and choreographer, seriously.
